A GREAT CINEMATIC EXPERIENCE

In the footsteps of Claude Lorius, a farseeing glaciologist and climate specialist

A great cinematic and multimedia experience in the footsteps of Claude Lorius, a farseeing climate specialist

From the glaciology pioneers to the new generation reinventing our society, Wild-Touch and Luc Jacquet connect past and present innovators. Come and join us until 2016 with the release of a feature film, a TV documentary, an educational program, an innovative lab and one expedition to the Antarctic.

Drilling down the Antarctic icefields in the 1950’s, the former brought about a sweeping change in our vision of the world as they discovered the origins of climate change. Today, the latter offer new means for transforming man’s imprint on its environment.

With Ice & Sky, Wild-Touch and Luc Jacquet travel back to the genesis of collective intelligence and forge a bond between the past and present stakeholders and the general public. Stemming from such a promise, a dynamic will encourage each one of us to join forces and respond to climate change, and together rewrite the rules of our future society.

The story I’m telling you now is the story of our planet Earth. And it’s the story of your future, deeply interlocked with the impact left by man on our planet, since man is more powerful than all united natural forcesClaude Lorius, a Glaciology Pioneer in the Antarctic

"Ice & Sky" is a multimedia project that will come to life in the wake of a major feature film directed by Luc Jacquet. The director of “March of the Penguins" (Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature in 2006) will recount Claude Lorius’ destiny. A lifelong investigation deep in the ice of the Antarctic. A scientific adventure which has brought climate change to light.

Movies, TV films, web contents, educational program and art exhibition are all part of one global story. Under the high patronage of an international top-notch science committee.

Wild – TouchA bond between man and nature

Our purpose

Rely on the dramatic strength of images, movies and art to arouse interest and help people discover, understand and take action

Association Wild-Touch acts as a messenger conveying the major nature conservation and enhancement challenges while revealing the beauty of our planet to the public.

Building on an epic movie directed by Luc Jacquet, audiovisual contents with high editorial and emotional value will be created and incorporated into meta-projects.

Forests, ice and climate, water, coral… With a challenging and multimedia program supported by influential expert figures, Wild-Touch develops original contents drawing on cinematographic resources: audiovisual productions (feature and TV films, web documentaries), in situ artistic residences and creations, exhibitions, collaborative web platform, environment-focused educational actions, and publishing.

Since 2010, Wild-Touch has been providing information and emotion through images and a challenging narrative experience.
